Family Medical Practices - Caring for the Shire
Family Medical Practices is a group of local, family-friendly clinics with locations in Kirrawee, Woolooware, and Kurnell. Together, we're united by one purpose: delivering quality healthcare with compassion, connection, and care that feels personal.
Our practices are led by two shire GPs, who understand the challenges and joys of family life. Alongside our team of local doctors, nurses, and staff, we share a simple goal; to keep our community healthy and well.
Each of our practices reflects the neighbourhoods we serve:
● Kirrawee Family Medical Practice is our central hub - a busy, welcoming practice where families know they'll find continuity of care and a team that's there for life's everyday needs as well as its bigger health challenges.
● Woolooware Family Medical Practice brings healthcare closer to the coast. It's just a short walk from the beach. Woolooware has a relaxed, community feel and offers patients the same trusted, evidence-based care with a friendly, approachable team.
● Kurnell Family Medical Practice is our newest site, proudly restoring GP services to the peninsula. With deep local roots and a location above a much-loved cafe, it's a practice that blends the warmth of a village community with accessible, modern healthcare.
Across all three practices, we believe in more than just treating illness. By focusing on preventive health and building long-term relationships, we aim to help every patient live well, stay well, and feel supported at every stage of life.

With practices in Kirrawee, Woolooware, and Kurnell, we have been providing trusted general practice services to the local community for decades. Our doctors are highly experienced specialists in family medicine, passionate about delivering quality care to individuals and families across The Shire and surrounding suburbs.
Each of our GPs bring unique expertise through additional training and special interests - including children's health, women's health, men's health, mental health, skin cancer medicine, chronic disease management, lactation medicine, sports medicine, neurodiversity and ADHD care, pain management, pregnancy planning, and veteran health. This breadth of experience means patients can access a wide range of high-quality, evidence-based care without needing to travel far from home.
